Sam Underwood is a Booz Allen wargamer supporting the JPME mission at NDU. Prior to joining NDWC in February of 2025, he developed and led analytic wargaming efforts for OSD CAPE and customers in the intelligence community using complex, rigidly adjudicated systems. His particular areas of interest are the US defense industrial base and the political dimension of conflict.
Sam earned his Associate’s degree from Southern Maine Community College and his Bachelor’s from the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs.
