Lt Col Eric W. Burger is a Senior Military Fellow of the Wargaming Division within the Center for Applied Strategic Learning (CASL). He joined CASL in June 2021. Lt Col Burger is a career intelligence officer with 20 years of service. His previous assignment was with SOCPAC at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii, where he served as Chief, Joint Intelligence Support Element. Lt Col Burger has three Special Operations Forces assignments, two assignments with test and evaluation, and served as the bilateral officer to the Japanese Air Self Defense Force. Eric holds an M.A. in U.S. History from American Military University, and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Guam. Eric is married to Lisa Honta, a special needs child instructor.
