Mr. Hyong Lee is a Senior Policy Analyst with the Center for Applied Strategic Learning at NDU. He started government service in 1992 as a Presidential Management Intern, now known as Presidential Management Fellows. In 1996, Mr. Lee started working for U.S. Pacific Command, eventually becoming Chief, Decision Support Branch (J084). He oversaw the development and execution of games and exercises, including bilateral/multinational games with regional partners, joint experimentation, and in support of contingency plans.
Mr. Lee joined NDU in 2002. Recent projects include cyber security, information and influence warfare, and integrating technology into exercises. Published papers include “Educating Future Cyber Strategists Through Wargaming: Options, Challenges, and Gaps” for the 13th International Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security (ICCWS) and co-authored “Representing Strategic Cyber and Information Warfare in Matrix Games” with Mr. James DeMuth for the 15th ICCWS.
